Retention

The retention periods are set out in the privacy policy, which is published ahead of general availability. This page says what is kept and where.

On your computer​

  • Your documents are files on your computer. OfficeLabs does not keep a copy of them.
  • Your conversations are stored on your computer, in the app's data folder. They are not uploaded for storage.
  • Your sign-in is kept on your computer and removed when you sign out. See Sign-in.

In the OfficeLabs cloud​

  • Your account: your email, your name and your subscription.
  • A record of each AI request: the model, the number of tokens, the cost, the timing and whether it succeeded. The text of your prompts and of the answers is passed on for the answer and not stored.
  • Your usage and billing records, which your allowance and invoices are calculated from.
  • Installer downloads: when each download happened, your IP address and your browser.

We do not train models on your content.

When you delete your account​

  • Your signed-in devices, your request records and your usage records are deleted.
  • Your name and email are removed from your account and from your invoices, and your IP address and browser from your download records.
  • An active subscription is cancelled at once.
  • Invoice amounts and dates are kept for as long as tax law requires.
